Switching Gears...

Hey scrap fans…I know this post is about a year later than it probably should be, but since its my blog, I reserve the right to make excuses. LOL My family went through a bit of a transition this year when my husband was reassigned to Westminster, Maryland and Libby and I decided to go with him. Long story short, we kept our house in Windber, got an apartment in Westminster and I am cyber-schooling Libby. I gave up the retail end of Cropsy Turvy, but wanted to keep my blog going as a place where I can document my artistic endeavors. Unfortunately, I haven’t been very good at actually doing the documenting part. I’ve been doing lots of crafting, in fact I probably did more layouts this year that I ever have. I just haven’t blogged about them.

When I first started this blog, I did it because I felt like it was what I needed to do to promote my business. I wanted each post to be relevant an useful to other scrappers; to be a resource of sorts. I didn’t want to write anything that I didn’t think would be useful to someone else. I think I was too concerned about “would anyone want to read about this” and not concerned enough with “do I want to write about this”. In doing so, I think I missed a lot of opportunities. From this point forward, I will be using my blog as my home base to document what makes me happy. Whether it is a layout, album, crafty project, or maybe even a recipe, I just might write about it. For those of you who are subscribed, I hope you’ll continue, but if you don’t I certainly understand.

I hope all of my scrappy friends are well, and until next time, Happy Scrappin’!!

~Patrice
