Williamsburg Day One (Travel)

Hey Scrap Fans! Today was our travel day from our home in Windber to our vacation destination site in Williamsburg, Virginia. We vacationed in Williamsburg last year, and when we decided at the last minute to plan a vacation this year, we decided to come back. This year we're staying at a different resort, the Williamsburg Plantation.

Our journey began after we dropped our two younger dogs off at the pet motel after chasing them through our neighborhood following their escape. They saw the bags, figured out what was up and made a run for it.  But we ran them down and wresseled them into the car. I felt bad leaving them, but I knew they were in good hands, and they survived last year, so away we went.

We finally headed out of town around 10:40am, car packed and my parents in tow. We made it about 3 hours before we stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel in Front Royal. After a ridiculously long wait (and a tiny outburst from my dad) we finally ate and headed back down the road.

A few more hours, some time spent in I-95 traffic and one potty/snack break later, and we arrived at our destination around 7.

We checked in, unpacked and headed out for dinner. As much as I wanted Chipotle, I was out voted and we ended up at KFC. Boo! I was not happy, but majority ruled so....

We returned to our condo and spent the rest of the evening relaxing in the room. My mom and the kids tried out the jacuzzi tub, my dad watched tv and Andy and I worked on a puzzle (which Abby promptly took over after I quickly got bored upon discovering I'm not that good at puzzles.)

I brought some scrap supplies with me, but I'm not really sure how I'm going to go about doing this album. Last year I did a mini album, but I found the small size limiting. I guess I'll wait until I have a few more pictures and see where they take me. Until then, Happy Scrappin'!!
